Six Word Memoir #6

I chose this photo for my six word memoir about my family. This picture is of my mom and I. Its from a trip we took to the states and we got matching shoes. My mom will forever and always be my best friend. She’s been with me through the thick and thin and I love her dearly. I chose to put the text in between us to symbolize bringing us together. Those words are almost like glue sticking us together and we will never be apart or out of each others lives.

Six Word Memoir #5

I chose this photo for my six word memoir about my past. My Oma and Opa live in Morris half an hour outside of Winnipeg. For as long as I can remember we’ve always passed this sign (which we call the creepy pig sign) on our way out there. This sign brings back so many memories of the times I’ve spent with my Oma and Opa as a child. Like spending all holidays out there eating enormous amounts of delicious foods. I chose to have all the text scattered because that’s how children are; they’re all over the place.

Six Word Memoir #4

I chose this photo for my six word memoir about love. I was given this single rose and it made my day. This is the exact rose I received and I remember I couldn’t of been any happier. I edited this photo to make the red of the rose pop. All around I made the photo super light and blurry to make the focal point the flower. I chose cursive writing because it reminds me of love; the elegance of it is beautiful. I put the text at the bottom because it was all white there and it really stood out there.

Six Word Memoir #3

I chose this photo for my six word memoir about family. This is Cookie my dog! I put “I don’t dunk my Cookies in milk because shes a dog". If someone heard that quote they would automatically think of your everyday cookie, not a dog. That’s why I think its kind of funny because no one really calls their dog cookie. I capitalized the c in cookie because that is her name. I used black font because I found it the best colour against the colours in the background of the photo. I chose this placement of the text because if I put it anywhere else it would really be blocking the picture.

Six Word Memoir #2

I chose this photo for my six word memoir about the future. In this picture the caption is I don’t want to die alone. The road is representing the path we travel in our life. All our experiences, all the twists turns and bumps we encounter. Through out your life you fall in and out of love with people. I want to be surrounded by people I love with when I die. Knowing that I’m not alone would mean the world to me. I chose to have vibrant colour in my picture to show all the happy times in your life. How bright and memorable they are.

Six Word Memoir #1

I chose this photo for my six word memoir about love. In this picture are my boyfriend and I at Grand Beach.  This caption perfectly describes our relationship. I’m in love, with my best friend. I chose to have the text white because I found that it helped them pop off the dark colour of the sand. I separated the sentence into two because with a large amount of the picture being sand I thought that by spreading the words out it wasn’t as boring. I chose to use cursive writing because it always beautiful and reminds me of love.
